As shown in the video below, the utterly bizarre bug occurs when the player tries to fast travel to the same spot that their horse is standing on. Instead of just being able to go on their merry way, getting back on the horse, and riding off across the plains, Breath of the Wild crashes instead and ‘softlocks’ the console.
