According to the site, the Master Trials DLC clocks in at just 456 MB for the Nintendo Switch. But on the company’s less shiny and new console, the pack is significantly larger. Those who are playing Breath of the Wild on Wii U can expect the Master Trials DLC to take up 3.7 GB of storage.

With multiple new items and modes tacked on to the Master Trials DLC, those gaming on a Wii U might not find the bulky file size much of an issue. Players can get their hands on a slew of base game add-ons like the Trial of the Sword mode, which forces fans to battle against onslaughts of opponents that come tumbling their way. They’ll traverse through 45 different rooms – without using any existing tools or weapons gathered during previous gameplay – to take down their enemies. Those who successfully complete the mode will witness the Master Sword gain double damage-dishing power. The DLC also includes the amped-up Master Mode that utilizes additional save slots, the Korok Mask, the Travel Medallion that opens up temporary travel portals on the map, the Hero’s Path, and eight brand new armor items.

The Master Trials DLC is only the start of the Breath of the Wild DLC packs. A second content bundle, called the Champions’ Ballad DLC, will roll out sometime during holiday 2017 and centers around four Link-era champions: Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa. When fans purchase the Master Trials, they’ll automatically purchase the Champions’ Ballad, as the two can only be bought together through the Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass. That runs for $20 USD.

Though the disparity between the two file sizes is quite large, it isn’t exactly a surprise, especially considering the sequence of events that has unfolded in the past. When Breath of the Wild was first released, players who picked up the title for the older generation console faced a hefty requisite download before they could even start adventuring as Link. Wii U owners were required to download a 3 GB update to begin playing Breath of the Wild. It’s a considerable price of entry in terms of storage, but given how well the game has been received – at one point setting the record for perfect review scores – it may be well worth it for most fans.

Breath of the Wild is out now on Nintendo Switch and Wii U. The Master Trials DLC will launch on June 30, 2017.
