Players will need to reach Rito Village in order to continue the main Breath of the Wild quest line. Surrounded by a deep lake, tall mountains, and angry enemies, getting to Rito Village requires player to take advantage of Breath of the Wild’s environment, the paraglider, and other abilities at Link’s disposal.

How to Get to Rito Village
Rito Village is located west of the Great Plateau, just south of the Hebra Mountains and north of the Tabantha Frontier. There are a few different ways to get to the village. Players can take the main road from the Great Plateau tower west to the Tabantha Great Bridge. From there, they can follow the road north of the bridges that lead to Rito Village. While not as dangerous as one of Breath of the Wild’s boss fights, for example, this path does present some enemies and some challenges. An alternative is to take the road north to the Tabantha Tundra and then back down to Rito Village.
And, of course, players can always head across the country and climb/glide their way to Rito Village. If players are successful, this can be quicker and less violent than other routes. It can, however, also be tedious and hard for Link to navigate, which is why amateur players might be better served by sticking to the road. Players who take this route will want to make sure they know where some of Zelda’s cooking pots are in order to prepare food for the journey. All things considered, though, the trip shouldn’t be too bad for more experienced players.
Even though Rito Village is remote, it is important for continuing the memorable story that Breath of the Wild tells. As Nintendo Switch becomes a bigger platform, it’s good to play and remember the epic games that have already shaped the console into the successful platform that it is. No game has done that better than Breath of the Wild, and exploring new areas, playing new quests, and defeating new enemies is part of what makes the experience so exciting and memorable.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now on Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
