For those unfamiliar with Unturned, it released on PC back in 2017 in a free-to-play format. A good way to describe it would be a fusion between the sandbox style of Minecraft or Roblox and the survival aspects of a game like DayZ. Though the graphics may be off-putting to some, it’s worth trying the game out before making a judgment.

The graphics may improve for this console port as well, with 505 Games promising “restructured visuals, enhanced game mechanics, a new deeper unlock progression system, and a refreshed experience.” At the moment it isn’t entirely clear what this means, as there has been no trailer indicating what fans can expect, but at the very least it should be better than what is already available on PC.
Players will have to balance health, food, water, radiation, and other hazards in order to survive, multiplayer is a key selling point of this game. Players can face the perils of the zombie apocalypse with friends online or in split-screen, and PVP is just as viable as co-op depending on what sort of experience the player is looking for.
Unturned console edition releases this fall for PS4 and Xbox One.
